Requirements
Must:
- Qualifications such as MCSA, AZs & ITIL would be highly beneficial.
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, specifically versions 10 & 11.
- Demonstrable experience with Azure & Intune.
- Excellent PC problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to configure, troubleshoot, and maintain various Windows Server OS.
- Active Directory setup and troubleshooting, including all associated services.
- Good understanding of virtualization concepts.
- Strong comprehension of the networking stack, TCP/IP, and subnetting.
- Comfortable with a range of backup products, including VM-level solutions.
- Essential knowledge of deployment solutions, such as WDS.
- Experience with MDT and/or SCCM is highly advantageous.
- Understanding of managed wireless solutions (Ruckus is advantageous), including 802.1X security and guest/BYOD networks.
- Knowledge of mobile devices (iOS, Android) and their integration with Windows networks.
- Strong experience with Office 365, Exchange 365, and Papercut.
- Familiarity with web filtering products such as LGFL, Smoothwall, Sonicwall, and Websense.
- Experience with Sophos Enterprise Console and other managed antivirus systems.
- Previous knowledge or experience in the education sector or managed service providers (MSPs) is beneficial.
- Professional, customer service-minded, and solutions-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide senior technical support to customers in the education sector.
- Ensure continuity and efficiency while enhancing ICT networks.
- Manage and maintain client network environments.
- Build key relationships with technical contacts at client sites and third parties.
